TheHalfDecent
Working under the alias TheHalfDecent — a play on his actual surname — this Swiss-born, Toronto-based artist works at the fluid intersection of painting, tattooing, muralism, and fashion design. Drawing since childhood and shaped by graffiti culture across Toronto and Barcelona, his aesthetic is dark, moody, and refined: an elevated take on urban grit that feels both high-impact and deeply personal. Whether designing apparel, tattooing custom work, or executing large-scale murals, his style remains consistent and distinctly international. At the core of his practice is emotional honesty — channeling lived experiences with depression and anxiety into compelling visual narratives that invite viewers to find common ground in the complexities we all carry.
